Well I've had the Elgrand a week now, and I still have to look back each time I park it up , and say to myself "thats my car" its such a great car to drive. I cannot recommend David Critchlow enough, he was professional and patient, there was no hard sell at all. I work 6 days a week and could only view it on a Sunday, that was no problem to David. Our Elgrand was still waiting for DVLA registration, and when David told us that it would probably come through on the Monday or Tuesday, it was no problem when I said I couldn't pick it up till the following Sunday. He asked for a very reasonable deposit, I offered more but he kept to his original request. On the Monday, David emailed me to tell me the registration do***ents had come through and he informed me of the registration number so I could sort out my insurance policy. David was always very prompt in responding to my emails throughout the week, keeping me informed, especially with respect to the payment. Thank you once again David.

Bought another car from David, this time an Estima to accommodate a growing family. I know my expectations were already high based on previous experience. Still, I was once again impressed with the vehicles David manages to source. I spent some time in Japan and even though the bar is higher there, it still takes some effort and dedication to find specimens like these. I also noticed as we got more aware of JDM gems, importers started popping up, some closer to where I live. Here I am again, I bought a Mitsubishi Shogun short wheel drive from David, unseen. I was so thrilled with the condition of the vehicle and way that it drove, I was back onto David asking whether or not he could source me a Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series on a 2004/05 plate out of the auctions in Japan. This to his credit, he managed to do, although it was not an easy task. However, I was kept informed of each vehicle he looked at. However, I am pleased to say that my Landcruiser has arrived and I have got it at the farm. I'm absolutely astounded at the condition of the vehicle. I know they look after them in Japan and have vigorous testing and no salt on the roads but there is no rust on the vehicle, I've been underneath it, none! It's just in mind-blowing great condition. As usual, great service, I can't recommend David at Goodmayes Motors enough!

Delighted with the first class preparation and quality of our 2003 Nissan Cube. The only defects were a scrubbed headlining and a tiny hole in middle arm rest. However, David has promised to replace the arm rest when we are next passing. Having bought numerous second hand cars over the years - and traveled many 100s of Miles only to be bitterly disappointed - it was a refreshing change to have a selection of immaculate Cubes for consideration. I cannot rate Goodmayes Motors highly enough they have given excellent service from start to finish. Even though I cancelled a visit at short notice they were most understanding and helpful. The Alphard that I purchased is an excellent example for a 2002 model. Only 25,000 miles and everything like new. A new set of tyres, which were not expected, and so many extras on the vehicle. David and Max were very happy to let me browse and take my time. No pressure and plenty of advice when you asked for it. Japanese car insurers were recommended when my own insurers couldn’t even find the model.

He is very helpful and full of advice. Collection was easy, even though just before Christmas. I wasn’t quick enough to snap it up and it was subsequently sold. I emailed David at Goodmayes and asked if he could possibly source another one (I thought I had no chance as they’re so rare!) I now have my Skyline for one year and I still grin every time I drive it. It never ceases to turn heads everywhere I go. The treatment we got from Goodmayes was second to none. The car was immaculately prepared, exactly as described in perfect condition. No hesitation in buying again.

My family have purchased two vehicles from Goodmayes Motors in the past 6 months, a Granvia and a Figaro. I contacted David Critchlow via e-mail when he was in Japan and as a result of my request he sourced a low mileage (verified) vehicle in near pristine condition. All relevant documents were provided and the quality of service was excellent. I have never been so pleased with a car. Dealing with David from around 550 miles North was painless and pleasant. The car was (and is) immaculate and has performed flawlessly. It has been used as a Limo, taken Off Road on serious Scottish mountains that Land Rovers fear, and washes up beautifully. It does what it says on the tin!
